Even when I was a young kid, I favored watching Norm Abrams on Yankee Workshop over cartoons on Sundays. Watching him build desks and different pieces of furniture fascinated me. Classic Japanese style and jointery also intrigues me, and I think you can see that inspiration in my designs. The sturdiness of American Farmhouse styles comes through too. My style of woodworking is a hodge podge of sleek, sturdy and simple.
